This Privacy Policy explains how Lit Travel collects, uses and protects personal information in the course of providing travel-related services.
Lit Travel may collect customer information such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, travel preferences, destination interests, passport-related travel details where necessary for bookings, and other information provided during enquiries or booking requests.
We collect customer data in order to prepare quotes, arrange bookings, communicate with travel suppliers, coordinate flights, accommodation, transfers, cruises, tours and provide support before and during travel.
Customer information is used to respond to enquiries, issue quotes, process bookings, confirm travel arrangements, communicate important travel updates and improve the service we provide to clients. We only use information for legitimate business and travel-service purposes.
Where necessary, customer information may be shared with airlines, hotels, resorts, tour operators, cruise lines, transfer providers, payment processors or other service partners involved in delivering booked travel services. Information is shared only to the extent reasonably required for those services.
Lit Travel takes reasonable steps to safeguard personal information against unauthorised access, misuse, loss or disclosure. While no system can guarantee absolute security, we aim to handle customer information responsibly and with appropriate care.
We may retain customer information for as long as reasonably necessary to manage enquiries, complete bookings, maintain records, comply with legal obligations and resolve any service-related issues.
Clients may request that their personal information be updated or corrected where appropriate. Requests will be handled in line with applicable South African privacy and data protection requirements.
